I have been leading group days and workshop sessions for over 15 years now and it has grown directly out of my initial study of drama and theatre arts combined with my legal studies.
Most people want to gather a group of relevant people together to develop something new: a new vision, mission or strategy. They want to figure out where they want to go and how they will get there. They want to work together more effectively or resolve a conflict.
Over the years I have delivered sessions about all these things. The facilitation process has resolved conflicts and tensions in teams at an impasse, created new structures to support growth or celebrated achievements and analysed success.
Recent clients across the UK include Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Big Cat Agency, University of Birmingham Enterprise, BCU (Faculty of Arts, Design and Media), Traverse Theatre, Out of Joint Theatre Company, Thames Festival Trust, Coventry University (Faculty of Arts and Humanities), DASH, Capsule, mac and Play to the Crowd.
It was a brilliant day’s thinking and conversing. I totally enjoyed it. It’s not often that you get to enjoy the thing you’ve set up and you totally made this possible.

I think it was the best strategic discussion we’ve had as a board in my time on it and this was achieved in significant part by the role you played, in planning the agenda and in facilitating us through it with skill, energy and good humour.
Stephen Warrington – Thames Festival Trust Board member (former Partner at McKinsey consultants)
