She has been instrumental in helping us to see the bigger picture from executive coaching to team days to reviewing policies and procedures. I’ve been involved with the Beatfreeks Collective since 2017. Initially as a consultant, Anisa wanted some assistance with organising this rapidly growing organisation into a structure that could support growth. This included collaborating on the ultimately successful application for Beatfreeks Arts to join the Arts Council England National Portfolio at a total value of £450,000.
I then worked with the growing team to make sure governance, staff systems, procedures and structure were fit for purpose as they joined the national portfolio. In 2019 I was Interim Executive at Beatfreeks during Anisa’s maternity cover and I am now a board member of Beatfreeks Arts and a regular contributor to their programmes.
